Anonymize DICOM

Anonymize DICOM files to protect patient privacy.

Steps

  1. Click on Anonymize Dataset Button

    • Click on the Anonymize Dataset button on the left sidebar. This feature is used to remove or obscure personal information from the DICOM files to protect patient privacy.
  2. Close Current Project

    • To anonymize the dataset, you need to close the current project. You will be prompted to save the project before closing. This ensures that the anonymization process does not affect your current work. Close Project for Anonymization
  3. Specify Anonymization Details

    • Specify the input directory, output directory, file name, and anonymization type. Optionally, you can choose to keep ages and genders if necessary. Specify Anonymization Details
  4. Start Anonymization

    • Click on the Start button to begin the anonymization process. The software will process the files and create a new set of anonymized DICOM files in the specified output directory.
