Measurement
Precisely measure anatomical dimensions directly within the 3D and 2D views.
- The Measurement tool allows users to take precise measurements within segments, which is useful for detailed analysis and validation of model dimensions.
Steps:
- Choose the
Measurementbutton from the sidebar. - Choose a measurement type from the dropdown: Line, Angle, Curve, Closed Curve, or Plane.
- Click in any view to place fiducial markers that define the measurement geometry.
- Results are automatically computed and displayed in the Measurements table at the bottom of the panel.
Measurement Types
- Landmark - Place a marker in a specific location in the images.
- Line: Computes the straight-line distance between two placed markers.
- Angle: Computes the angle formed by three placed markers, with the middle marker at the vertex.
- Curve: Measures the arc length of a path defined by multiple sequential markers.
- Closed Curve: Closed Curve: Computes both the perimeter and enclosed area of a closed polygon defined by multiple markers
- Plane: Defines a planar cross-section normal to the surface at a selected point, useful for anatomical annotation.
- Annotation - Place a text annotation in a specific location of the images.
Note: Curve, and Closed curve tools are not 510K validated, and should not be used to support planning or diagnosis purposes
Measurements Table
- The Measurements table lists all active measurements along with their computed values(length, angle, area, etc.) and type identifiers.
Import/Export Measurements
-
Import: Load previously exported measurement files into the current project.
-
Export: Save all current measurements to a file for documentation or external analysis.
Delete Measurements
-
Delete Button: Select one or more measurements and click Delete to remove them from the table.
