Split Segment

Perform common segment related operations.

• The Split Segment tool divides a segment into two or more parts.

Steps:

• Choose the Split Segment tool.

• Choose the segment you want to split.

• Paint on two or more segments in split segments table.

• Initialize the preview

• Click on Show Preview Button

• Change the opacity as per desire.

• Click on apply to perform

Additional Information

Split Segment Table

• Add or remove the number of segments you want to split in the split segments table.
• Change the color of split segments

Changing Parent Segment

• Change the parent segment from the parent segment combobox

Apply/Update Changes

• Click on Initialize/Update button to update the preview

Preview

• Preview the output in 3D View

Opacity

• Change the opacity by opacity of preview using opacity button

Reset Preview

• Reset the preview by clicking on reset button.

Operation

• Change the operation like Add/Remove operation
• Add : It adds the slices in specified region.
• Remove : It removes the slices in specified region.
• Brush Shape : Circle, Square, and Lasso are the main types of brush shapes you can choose from.
• Brush Size : This option is used to change the diameter (e.g., Circle) or area (e.g., Square) for a brush shape. It is not available for Lasso.
